When FACE FIRST originally searched for who would be the lead singer, Fox television followed
the band through their own “American Idol” contest and produced a 2 part “Getting the Gig”
special that aired on the Fox Affiliate in Minneapolis…The nights that the specials aired,
over 250,000 viewers tuned in. And that year, the “Getting the Gig” specials won an
Emmy award for its production….

FACE FIRST’s debut was at the FINE LINE MUSIC CAFÉ and that show was
developed into FACE FIRST’s first live DVD.
